The hotel offers updated and affordable rooms. The employees are very kind with nice manners. There are lots of goodies offered for breakfast. The location is marvelous, with a super close walk to a vibrant public square.

Fairly clean and always packed with people, this place offers rooms with views overlooking the busy zócalo. The location is fantastic, making it easy to stroll over to the Main Square on foot. 🏙️

I recently stayed at Collection O Hotel Del Portal for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The cleanliness of the room was excellent and the staff was incredibly helpful. The highlight of this hotel is its unbeatable location right in front of the cathedral. The valet parking service, although a bit chaotic at times, was a valuable amenity considering the parking challenges in downtown Puebla. Additionally, the practical breakfast, charming colonial atmosphere, and the value for money with the deal I received made my stay even more enjoyable.

Usually whenever I go to that hotel I ask for room 214 as it is spacious and I love the view of the Zócalo. Definitely the restaurant service and food are excellent, the restaurant manager or manager whoever, was super attentive (a gentleman with glasses very friendly) was super respectful, I took my BB and I take a periquera and very nice clean it with a disinfectant wipe, even my BB really charge in the 9 years I've been visiting this hotel improve each district more congratulations very much.

Honestly, only thing I didn't like was two things... room was dirty (I had to clean it myself because my BB crawls) so I realized it was super dirty on the two nights I stayed and shower room is super small and door to close was not working. From there on out it was fine. Thanks

The location

Room too small, without good ventilation felt very hot, no air conditioning just a fan which made a lot of noise. I made my reservation for two adults and two children and it said breakfast included, they only gave me the adults'. I booked three nights so I had the right to three breakfasts, the first day we went to the buffet and I had to pay for the children's breakfast, the second day I couldn't use it because the restaurant opens at 7:30 and I left earlier for a tour. The third day they only told me that I could have an American breakfast in spite of the buffet being set up, I asked them if I could use my breakfast ticket from the day before that I hadn't used and they said no.. The second night I tried to have dinner in the restaurant but they told me that in that section they could not attend me (it was empty), that if I wanted I would have to go to the other side, I told them that I was a guest and that what we wanted was to have a quiet dinner without people and they answered me that it was hotel policies, we decided to go to another place. In the room, in the bathroom we had a can of grease all our stay and above the safe in the closet a plastic container with water and soap

The room had satellite TV, a cozy sitting area, and a desk for writing.

Conveniently located near the cathedral square, Collection O Hotel Del Portal in Puebla offered an enjoyable stay. Our room overlooked the bustling city, providing a vibrant view. Plush towels, hand towels, and bottled water were provided, adding a touch of comfort. The staff at the front desk were friendly, making us feel welcome. Despite the minor inconvenience of leaving our key at the desk, the overall experience was pleasant.

Good treatment of waiters, valet parking and very nice restaurant.

Upon my arrival I called the hotel to ask about parking, because there are no parking areas in the hotel, woman who answered from the front desk was very indifferent and not at all helpful, not even offering to help me get there, even though I told her I had already gone around and around and didn't see where or how to go, hotel does not provide the necessary information to know how to enter the car in the parking lot and also the woman who answered me which I suppose is a reception area without its own criteria and no service attitude a check for that lady.. rooms are a little warm and they left me a broken fan that gave the air for the floor.
